Research on Open Technology Innovation Mode Selection of SMEs Based on the Enterprise Life Cycle Theory

摘要：

Based on the investigation of 36 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs for short), this paper proposes that SMEs should implement open technological innovation, and also analyzes the characteristics of SMEs in different periods according to enterprises life cycle theory. Then we establish a selection model of open technological innovation of SMEs based on the different stage of life cycle, and suggest that SMEs should take cooperation between government and enterprises, as well as university-industry cooperation, interfirm cooperation as the main innovative models during start-up, growing and mature period. At last, we put forward some problems which we should pay attention while selecting the models of open technological innovation for your reference.
