Network, Dynamic Capability and the Performance:An Empirical Investigation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
Network is crucial for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), so is dynamic capability. Based on capability theory, a model is put forward to test the relations among network, dynamic capability and the performance in SMEs. The results of empirical study show that network intensity and range are positively related to dynamic capability, which, in turn, has a significant effect on the performance. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed at the end.
