The Status of HRM in SMEs: Evidence from Two Case Studies of China
Small and medium enterprises(SMEs) play an important role in the national economy, and human resource has become one of the most important resources in enterprises. As a decisive factor in an enterprise development, human resource management (HRM) has gained wide attention nowadays. However, due to the immature HRM system, SMEs have met their bottleneck in the development. The paper first gives an example about two SMEs in China. Then through the comparison of these two SMEs, we analyzed all the aspects of problems existed in the HRM of SMEs in China currently. Finally, we present a discussion and conclusion, with a glimpse into the future of the HRM of SMEs in China.
