The Structural Analysis of Models of Change in Corporate Strategy-Meta-model of K-MCCS and Case Studies of Zheshang
Based on the theoretical understanding that firm is an organization of knowledge integration and the change in corporate strategy is an organizational learning behavior, this paper constructs structure of corporate strategy in knowledge dimensionality that is K-MCCS meta-model. It is constructed by analyzing knowledge, especially the organic linkage between corporate knowledge and corporate strategic factors. With this model as the analytical framework, this paper divides models of change in corporate strategy into four types according to three criteria. And the criteria refer to the reason of the change in corporate strategy, the flexibility of corporate strategy and the goal of the change in corporate strategy. Whats more, this paper also reveals the structure of corporate strategy based on knowledege dimensionality, applicable situation and knowledge character/characteristic of each model. The knowledge linkage among these four types of models of change in corporate strategy is the learning mechanism of corporate strategy. Meanwhile, combining with the case studies of Zheshang, it analyses the preliminary experience.
