Understanding the Strategic Information Systems Planning( SISP): Requirements View
This paper reviews the literature relating to the requirements of IS strategic planning. Classifications of the benefits and requirements of IS strategic planning will be created from academic literature and published case studies. For strategic requirements, there are different categories, such as integration requirements and competitiveness requirements. So, the planning team desires to recognize how they can place the requirements of a firm in groups. One way of doing so may be attained by understanding the benefits that can be obtained by IS for the firm. This understanding can support the evaluation of IS strategic planning processes to support decisionmakers through the planning process.
