Analysis on Opportunities and Risks of Overseas M&A of Chinas Medium and Small-sized Enterprise
This paper analyses the opportunities and risks of overseas M&A （Merge and Acquisition) of Chinas medium and small-sized enterprises. This paper first introduces the present condition of Chinas medium and small-sized enterprises and predicts the growth of overseas M&A in the future. Then the motives of these enterprises overseas M&A are listed in the second part Five motives are listed in this part and discussed in details respectively. The paper then examines the opportunities and risks of overseas M&A of Chinas medium and small-sized enterprises. The revaluation of RMB and Americas subprime lending crisis are discussed as the main opportunities. And these kinds of risks are discussed. Finally, the paper ends with assessment of these main opportunities and risks and gives the future prospects and policy implications.
