Government Support for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Financing
There are objectivity and theoretical basis for the large existence and the development of SMEs. However, under the existing financial system, there are market failures in the SME financing market, which need to be corrected by government intervention. Government can play a limited role in many ways, such as innovation in the financial system, providing financial assistance, developing direct financing, strengthening government support, etc., with a minimum of intervention to achieve the greatest support for SME financing.
