Simulation on Sustainable Development of Port Based on System Dynamics
The concept of sustainability development of port is defined as port development that meets present global economics, environmental and social needs without compromising the opportunity of future generations to meet theirs. We all live in one green house and there is only one large sea in our universe. It is myopic reasons and tunnel visioning that make very few see beyond their coast lines for development purposes. Decision makers in port development have very few means of evaluating the sustainability and entities involved with port system. So, based on system dynamics technology, this paper build a simulation frame of port development in order to describe the developing process enabling decision makers to know various port policies and analyze the multitude of what if scenarios. The result of the simulation rather than guarantee an optimum policies solution, would help decision makers view the structure of a port system and the relationship of sta.
