Chinas Industry Structure Transformation and Growth Quality-A Study Based on 11 Regions of Zhejiang Province
Through some analysis, the paper suggests that comparative labor productivity is on the rise in industries of Hang zhou, Jiaxing and other regions with specialization-generalization growth type, and that the industrial development in these regions is primarily driven by hightech or high-productivity industries, the growth of which has promoted industry structure optimization or upgrading, which in turn improved industrial development level as a result that as to the comparative productivity in industries of specialization growth regions represented by Ningbo and Wenzhou, the industrial development of which is mainly popped up by low-tech or low-productivity industries, it has seen a downturn trend in industries of specialization growth regions represented by Ningbo and Wenzhou, the industrial development of which is mainly popped up by low-tech or low-productivity industries, and that the expansion of those these low-tech, low-efficiency industries deteriorated the industry structure as a whole, undermining the industrial development level and industrial growth quality of those these regions.
