2-Dimensional Vibration Analysis of Composite Materials with Micropolar Theory
Composite materials, like CFRP, plastics including nanotubes or carbon blacks, etc. are not homogeneous or isotropic in general. However, if inclusions in the material are very small and scattered uniformly, we can see the material as quasi homogeneous and isotropic, and analyze it by using the continuum model. The way of analyzing vibration dispersion of the composite material with microstructure is first introduced in this paper, and determination of elastic moduli of the continuum model is also described.
