Preparation of the Nano-Composites for Dam Concrete Protection
In this study, the nano-composites were prepared by using ultrasonic dispersion method. The size of nanoparticles in nano-composites was characterized by Zetasizer. We studied the influence of the silica content on the performance of nano-composites. The nano-composites can significantly enhance the frost-resisting property, anti-carbonating property,as well as abrasion-resistance of concrete. The nano-composites are expected to have promis-ing applications in dam concrete protection.
