Analysis on Stability of the Side Slope of Dam under Seepage Effect

摘要：

The phenomena of instability in side slope of dam frequently appears in ill-danger-ous reservoirs in our country, of which abnormal seepage in dam, high saturated zone are more common. In China, the cases that seepage effect caused by water level decreasing in reservoir lead to instability of dam slope are universal. This paper has studied that seepage influence on stability of dam slope, and detailed analysis on the influence degree of seepage effect for stability of dam slope, in addition, special project cases has been proposed, the re-suits show that it is of importance for study of slope stability to analyze seepage effect by ra-tional method.
