Design and Construction on Grouting for the WangJiangling Reservoir Dam
The dam of WangJiangling reservoir is massive-buttress masonry structure; due to poor quality, large porosity, shed mortar and loose block-stones, the problem of water leak-age was very severe. This problem was effectively solved by constructing concrete watertight slab on the upstream face of the dam, shotcrete on the surface of gallery and grouting within the dam, which provides useful experience about grouting design and construction for similar projects.
