The Advantge of Plastic Concrete Cut-off Wall Applied in Earth Dam Eliminating Danger and Reinforcing
In the light of the basic consolidation feature of earth dam in eliminating danger and reinforcement project, this article has discussed the main superiority of plastic concrete cut-off wall, which are lower elasticity modulus and modulus strength ratio, controlled, artifi-cially mixture ratio, elasticity modulus designed artificially similar to the distortion coeffi-cient of around earth; the initial module shall not increase with the surround pressure, which will help eliminate high pressure produced by deformation of wall and surround rock; it has larger ultimate strain and deformation ability; it has similar stress-strain relationship and de-struction style with soil, which will make the plastic wall accommodate with the surrounded rock; its strength will be increased greatly under the three-directional stress, which means it will has great safety reserve in operation. Meanwhile, it has good impermeability, earth-quake resistance and durability, handy construction, high efficiency, short construction time, smaller cement, less money which are good for environment protection. Therefore,plastic concrete cut-off wall shall be greatly promoted in to eliminate danger and reinforce the environmental protection in China.
