The Method of Dam Risk Analysis Based on Fuzzy Fault Tree
Fault tree method is deficient in description of the fuzziness in dam risk analysis. Tosolve the above shortcoming, a method of dam risk analysis based on fuzzy fault tree is pro-posed in this paper, which integrates the characteristics of fault tree and fuzzy theory. Ran-domness and fuzzy of the dam risk factors can be taken into account simultaneously throughthis method. Fuzzy number is used to represent failure probability, which deals with the dif-ficulty in accurately estimating the basic factors of dam risk by fault tree method. Finally,the result of application illustrates the feasibility. The fuzzy fault tree provides a useful new method for the dam risk analysis.
