Study on the Linear Regression Formulas of Loss of Life Due to Dam Breach

摘要：

According to the in-situ investigated results of eight breached dams in China, the linear approximate estimation formulas of loss of life due to dam breach were preliminarily put forward, making use of the linear regression statistic method. The formulas are easy to estimate loss of life due to dam breach, and they can be referred to the study of the technolo-gy of dam risk evaluation and risk management.
