The Establishment and Application of Small-scale Reservoir Dam Safety Evaluation Technical Standards
There are a large number of small-scale reservoirs, which accounts for 97.3% of all reservoirs in Jiangxi province. In recent years, in order to adapt to characteristics of the dams in Jiangxi province, the unified dam safety evaluation technical standards in this region are established gradually, which could make the evaluation standards for different grade dams have respective pertinence, and it is systematized preliminarily through the long-term efforts of the author and his team. The engineering application indicates that the unified standards has played a strong role in regulating and directing dam safety evaluation work of small-scale reservoirs in Jiangxi province, so far as to throughout the country.
