Fiber Optic Sensor Application in Dam Safety Monitoring
The fiber optic sensor begins to be use to the safety monitoring division of hydro-power engineering because of specific principle and performance. In the paper, the principle,characteristic, performance and the application of fiber optic sensor in dams, safety monito-ring division has been recited, and the ROTDR fiber optic sensors setting and application in the Sanbanxi hydraulic engineering by NARI Geotechnical & Structural Engineering Monito-ring Company has been introduced.
