Failure Analysis and Emergency Response for Earthquake-damaged Hydraulic Structures and Post-quake Restoration Concerns

摘要：

The devastating earthquake at Wenchuan, Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008 caused severe damages to hydraulic structures, including reservoir clams, dikes, water gates,etc. Based on site investigation, this paper makes statistics of main failures of earthquake damaged hydraulic structures in Deyang, Sichuan and gives brief discussion on emergency re-sponse actions including structural and non-structural measures and points out main concerns in post-quake restoration.
