STUDY ON SAFETY PROOFING OF FLOOD CONTROL IN WATER SYSTEM PLANNING FOR THE NEW COUNTRYSIDE OF SOUTHERN JIANGSU
Good water system planning is the important basis and guarantee of realizing the sustainable development of New Countryside Construction. Owing to its special geographical locations, when the flood in upper reaches 、 local storm and tide meet together, a serious disaster can be caused, during the flood in southern Jiangsu. A calculation method suitable for proofing the security of flood control of water system planning was proposed and hydrodynamic model for river network was established, also, the corresponding calculation program has been written. Taking Leyu area of ZhangJiaGang city as an example, the flood stage of the river network under different planning conditions was calculated. The calculated result may provide a basis for water system planning of southern Jiangsu to formulate rational flood control schemes.
