A NEW ESTIMATION METHOD OF SCOUR DEPTH IN ENERGY DISSIPATION OF SKI JUMP TYPE

The function relation of synthetic scour coefficient K and rock diameter d in Chens formulation be researched by choosing series of scour material, based on the results of Dongjiang power station and Shuanghekou power station physical model tests. The scour depth data of related projects be collected and an empirical equation of the relation between K and flow velocity v be established by numerical fitting, the calculation result by empirical equation is approach to experiment value. So a conclusion comes to us that the empirical equation of establishing the equilibrium (limiting) scour can be used in other projects.
