THE EFFECT AND MEASURE OF WATER QUALITY AND SEDIMENT ADOPTING OF FRIES BY FILLING WITH RIVER FLOWS FOR THE TIANEZHOU WETLAND

Before and after adopting of fries by filling with river flows, the water quality and sediment of the ancient course and the cecum reach which connecting the Tianezhou ancient course and the Yangtze River are analyzed. The result shows that pH and total salinity decreased; the alkalinity and concentration of HCO3-and Cl-changed little; the total hardness and concentration of Ca2+increased in the cecum reach and the ancient course after adopting of fries by filling with river flows. Sediment is adopted and sedimentated in the cecum reach and the ancient course at the same time of indraught water. But the sediment concentration of the Yangtze Rive reduces sharply after the construction of the Three Gorges Project. Through connecting Heiwawu ancient course and the Yangtze River, it could improve water quality and reduce sediment of the two ancient courses availably.
