SAFETY EVALUATION AND CORROSPONDING METHODS ON DAMS GRADED BY RISK ANALYSIS
In order to improve the rationality of dam safety evaluation, on the basis of analyzing characteristics of concepts and evaluation criteria of dam safety, all the dams are partitioned into four grades using the simple risk analysis method recommend by ICOLD and corresponding grade index is proposed. And according to different grades, evaluation methods with four different levels are studied and used, including the deterministic evaluation based on the guidelines on dam safety evaluation, the safety evaluation based on risk analysis, comprehensive evaluation based on uncertainty theories and the dynamic fuzzy risk analysis based on dam damage diagnosis & life prediction, corresponding key problems desiring further study are also pointed out. At last, the credibility of the result and the conclusion of dam safety evaluation are discussed by analyzing their uncertainty, corresponding method is presented and the concept of uncertainty of dam safety evaluation is proposed.
