STUDY ON DYNAMIC FEATURES OF DELIVERY VALVE OF SHIP LOCKS OF THE THREE-GORGE PROJECT
A method of experimental mode analysis is applied in the prototype tests of dynamic features of delivery valve of ship locks of the Three-Gorge Project. The frequency response scope of field strikes meets the requirement of tests and analyses of hydraulic gates. A structural coupling theory based on dynamic flexibility is used to identify the modal frequency of 1 rank and 2 rank of valve-boom coupling system, i.e. 12.5Hz and 32.5Hz respectively, fundamentally out of the high energy zone produced by hydrodynamic strikes. Without a special loading, there will be no harmful vibration of delivery valve. Comparison result of dynamic features between prototype and hydraulic model tests shows that the boundary constraint of delivery valve in prototype controls the occurrence of lateral vibration and the modal frequency of low ranks corresponding to different vibration types is multiplied.
