ONE AND TWO-DIMENSION COUPLING SIMULATION FOR DAM-BREAK FLOOD
In this article, considering the complex characteristic of reservoir terrain, a coupling model combining one-dimension and two-dimension is constructed to simulate the dam-break floods. Staggered grid, the linear recurrence, and alternating implicit scheme were used to solve the coupling model. This model is employed to simulate the release of dam-bursting flood of some reservoir and its advance towards downstream. The water level and flow velocity is shown. The water flow is quickly predicted.
