Further Measurement of the Melting Point of Gallium by Johnson Noise Thermometry

This paper reports the further measurement of the melting point of gallium by the Johnson noise thermometer of NIM. The facility was the same of previous measurements. The difference from the previous existed in that the imperfection effect was corrected from the measurement result. With this correction, the melting point of gallium was further determined to be 302.9210 K of the standard uncertainty of 6.5 mK for a total 450 hours integration time. The difference from the value assigned by ITS-90 is (T-T90)=6.4 inK, which agrees with that determined by the primary acoustic thermometer of the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST).
