The Cycle Temperature Influences on Thermocouples Type N
Article describes thermoelectric (Seebeck) inhomogeneity influence (SI) on temperature measurements results held by integrally sheathed cable thermocouples type N. These thermocouples have best metrological stability among cable thermocouples from base metals at constant temperature measurements. SI influence on measurements was studied, that originates and evolutes as a result of numerous thermo shocks. Visualization of SI (VOSI) was registered by Immersion-into-Liquid method, In this article presented result of thermocouples 3.0 m and 4.5 m study, subjected to 500 thermo shocks. Change of metrological characteristics and microhardness were studied. Its shown that even for integrally sheathed thermocouples impossible to predict exactly values of SI influence. Interrelationship between microhardness and VOSI was described.
