2-D Mathematical Modeling for the Dilute Region of CFBB
A reasonable simplified mechanism mathematical model on the dilute region of CFBB, based on gassolid fluidization, combustion and heat transfer, is presented. This model predicts the temperature distributions in the furnaces and wall heat transfer coefficients. These are useful for the design and operation of CFBB. The model is validated against the data generated in two CFB boilers of different coal rank.
