A Novel Optimization Methodology Based on Genetic Algorithm For Gain-Boosted OPAMP

A Genetic Algorithm-based methodology for gain-boosted amplifier was presented. This method gave a global optimization on both settling time and power consumption of gain-boosted amplifiers. Circuit models wer explored to operate hill climbing on the settling time. An optimum design criteria was given for fast convergence. The detailed algorithm was discussed and implemented with Matlab. Finally a practical amplifier was presented for high-speed applications.
