A Single-Inductor Dual-Output Pseudo-DCM/CCM Buck and Boost Converter in 90nm CMOS Technology
A single-inductor dual-output DC-DC converter designed in a 90nm CMOS technology is presented in this paper. One of the sub-converters is a buck converter,and the other one is a boost converter. There are totally five power switches in the power stage. The values of the off-chip inductor and capacitors at the output of each sub-converter are 1μH and lμF,respectively. The switching frequency of the internal oscillator is 4MHz. The power efficiency of each sub-converter is about 88% for load current of 20mA.
