A Flezible Approach to Generating Customized Elliptic Curve Cryptographic Coprocessors over GF(2m)
This paper proposes a novel systematic approach to generating elliptic curves cryptography (ECC) coprocessors with customized curve parameters. According to the differences between multiplications,two kinds of coprocessors with same parameters are generated; Different coprocessors with their fixed field parameters have similar architectures:parameter-dependent changes are mainly localized to the leaf cells in the datapath and the connection patterns among them. As a result,this approach,providing an easy tradeoff between hardware circuit complexity and security levels,generates coprocessors applied to different information secure systems. 18 coprocessors based on 9 different curves are generated by this approach.
