Re-Evaluation of Payam-E Nour Central Organization Within As per EFQM Organizational Ezcellence Model Payam-E Nour University, Iran

Payam-e Nour University as a higher education center for e-learning should take measures to establish quality management systems and reform or change the body of educational services due to its widespread development and progress in every dimensions of science and industry which is in parallel with economic, social and cultural growth and population boom as well as the youngsters need to have receive university programs and enjoy technical and specialized skills whose demands have skyrocketed.Meanwhile, a research project was carried out by a Study Team in the Central Organization of Paym-e Nour University in 2005-06. The project outcomes were tested by the Departments high-ranking managers and experts using EFQM Model, by which its improvable points and strengths were identified. It is all done to have a dynamic quality management system on the way to progress. To re-evaluate the Organization and to monitor the changes for improvement of the quality of the offered services through comparing the scores obtained in two consecutive years and to test the improvement level of weak points as a result of the first research conducted last year, another research was conducted under the same topic and with slight differences. The main objective was to re-evaluate the Organization performance on the way to excellence through the application of EFQM Model and also to compare the outcomes of these two researches. This study which is a fieldwork survey (pen and paper) is a descriptive research for the evaluation of the organization as per EFQM Model besides the desk research.Here are both open and close ended questions in the questionnaire and the universe is the Central Organization of Payam-e Nour University in Tehran. The population is the Organizations high-ranking managers and senior experts. After holding a one-day workshop for briefing the Study Team about thetarget population, the questionnaire, its rudiments and executive objectives, a deadline as long as several days (a week) was given to go through the deeds, notes and documents or any evidence adduced to spot the strengths and weak points regarding the questions stipulated in the questionnaire.Although the excellence score has showed an increase in compare with the same figure obtained from the previous research, there is still a gap between the current and ideal conditions in the Central Organization of Payam-e Nour University. Due to such a gap, the University should seek basic reforms using different optimized methods and options.
