Improving Teaching Quality by Sharing Laboratories
Most eLearning material presently used is based on lectures intended for face-to-face education, thus not taking into account the very different situation of learners without direct and/or asynchronous contact to their teachers. There is still a lot of printed material, merely enhanced by video lectures. Furthermore, a lot of eLearning material uses illustrations and examples with little relevance to real life situations. Sometimes, there are dynamic simulators available, but many of them are rarely designed in such a way that they emerge as motivating and exciting for the learner.
