Welded tubular structure for the Zadar dome

Described are construction details of the steel welded tubular dome structure with span of 89.5 m built in Zadar, Croatia. Discussed are primary structure-a lamella monolayer space dome composed of the three-directional trimmed steel tube beam system mesh, as well as the role of the secondary load-bearing structure of the external envelope integrated into the load bearing system and made to act compositely.
