Tubular steel water tank tower dynamic analysis

摘要：

The subject of the paper is the dynamic behaviour and expected wind response of the steel water tank tower. Full scale dynamic measurements were realised on the lattice tower structure with empty and full water tank. The used sources of vibration were ambient ones and portable mechanical exciter of vibration. The analytical studies included comparison of different calculation models as to their sensitivity to natural modes and frequencies. The calculation of forced harmonic vibration proved acceptable agreement with meas-ured values.
