Morphology Analysis on the Coarse Roots Fiber of Cassava
Introduction Cassava is one of three world tuber crops of tropical and subtropical area. The production region of cassava in china is located mainly in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan province, in Guangxi, cultivated area of cassava is about 6 million Mu, annual yield is approximately 8 million tons. Cassava starch is a new type renewable energy resource. It has provoked worldwide attention to produce alcohol from cassava starch. The eleventh five-year plan of Guangxi industry key development brings forth the great concept of developing cassava fuel ethanol industry and constructing biomass energy production base. The market demand of fuel ethanol will grow rapidly in Guangxi and the surrounding areas in future.
