A Study on the MOE of Chinese Fir Structural Glulam Lumbers

Introduction Viewing Chinese fir (Cunninghamia ianceolata) as samples, this paper analyzed the relation of the static modulus of elasticity (MOE) (ESF) measured by the apparatus of omnipotence test-bed and the dynamic modulus of elasticity (ELV) acquired by Fast Fourier Transform, and the mainly factors that effected bending strength. With this relation, it was possible to predict the mechanical properties of Chinese fir lumbers, provide the important testing method and technology parameters for studying the product line of structural Glulam laminates real time rating, and control the lumber quality and raise the utilization rate.
