A Wavelet Package Analysis-based Approach for Knots Localization in Wood
Introduction The dynamic property of structure is inherent, which can reflect the change of structure parameter sensitivity. Large numbers of theory and test fact are proving that vibration modal analysis can obtain the information of structure state. The knots of wood will change the physics parameter, and that change the modal parameter. Wood can be Nondestructive tested by vibration modal analysis which can reflect the change of modal parameter. This paper investigated the effects of position of knots on vibration modal parameter of larix dahurioa turoz. The result can be used to nondestructive test the position of knots in use.
