Determination of Thermal Conductivity of Piptadeniastrum Africanum
Introduction Most building materials such as concrete and bricks, particularly ceiling and walling materials, arc fairly good conductors of heat. These materials are known to have a high ability to conduct heat produced by solar radiation heating of the interior space of a building, a situation that causes discomfort in indoor spaces in tropical regions. Some researchers have observed that knowledge of thermal properties of different walling materials is very important in the choice of materials to be used in the construction of self-cooling or passively cooled buildings. Heat flow through any building material is dependent on the thermal properties of the material.
