Pilot Study on Contour Tracing Method From Digital Images of Conifer Species based on The Binarization Theory
1. Introduction Extract contours of wood cells is an important method to measure parameters of wood characters such as area, amount and rate of cell wall etc., and it is also the base for morphometry calculation and analysis. The key point of this article is to discuss a suitable and feasible method for wood cell contour.
