Study on Hot Strain of Tangential of Bamboo
1 Materials and Methods Bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens) was slivered into test piece in tangential, and standard of test pieces: length x width x thickness =200mm x 20mm x 2mm, moisture content 8%-12%. Electric-resistance strain pieces were pasted on the face of test pieces which had been cleaned by alcohol, and were connected to the electric-resistance strain instrument. A temperature instrument was set on the pieces too. Test pieces were put in the drying cabinet separately after strain instrument was started, and strain value was taken one time when the temperature of the test piece increased every 1℃. The power of the drying cabinet was turned off when the temperature of test piece reached 150℃, just the same, strain value was taken one time when the temperature of the test piece decreased every 1℃ until room temperature. The mean value of 6 test pieces was taken as the strain value of the bamboo, and the mathematical model on the relation between the strain of test pieces and temperature was established.
