The Current Status and the Trend of Bamboo Processing Machinery in China
Introduction China is called bamboo kingdom, because of its richest bamboo resource, the biggest bamboo planting area and bamboo products in the world, as well as long history for bamboo cultivation. The number of the people who are working on the bamboo cultivation, bamboo products manufacture and management attains over 35 million. Presently, research on bamboo industry mainly focuses on materials and techniques. In the future, more attention will be paid to such techniques as the comprehensive processing and efficient exploit of bamboo and non-wood resource, the cultivation of non-wood resource and advanced forestry machining equipments.
