The Development Status of Modern Wood Structure Industry in China
History of Chinese wood structure Chinese wood structure was a major achievement on behalf of Chinese ancient architecture and the source of the Chinese architectural culture. China was gradually out of the restricted area of modem wood structure, and the market of wood structure would ushered in a new spring. Development and quantity of wood construction in recent decade Modem wood structure was the most common structure style of modem wood structure and the first modem structure style which appeared in Chinese market. Since 1996, some luxury wood structure villas were first built in Beijing and Shanghai, then appeared in other cities gradually. The domestic research and external cooperation had been launched with the introducing of wood structure.
