Volatile Organic Compounds Concentration in the Buildings of University in Harbin, China
Introduction The evaluation of the indoor air quality is the concentration of total volatile organic compounds (TVOC). People. paid great attention on the indoor air pollution nowadays, especially the thermal condition of the public building. A series of national standards have been carried out to control the indoor air quality. The university is a special public for its dense population. The outdoor air pollution also causes the poor air quality. The objectives of this paper are to characterize air pollution level at selected rooms in Harbin. to compare the measured concentrations with established standards, and to suggest ways to reduce pollutant levels in rooms.
