nvestigation on the Utilization of Pomegranate Wood for Particleboard Production

In this study, particleboard manufacturing has been offered to consider of lignocellulosic residues usage from recision of Kiwi limpid wood. In this investigation, with usage of three 3 resin consumption gradian (0%, 2%, 4%) and 3 press time level (3, 4, 5min). According to these factors, in every stage 9 combination samples were collected and 3 board from each treatment, totally 27 experimental sample boards, were made. The result of mechanical & physical properties were analyzed using Randomized Complete Block experimental Designe (RCBD). The result in, this study showed that, MOR & MOE content maximum, were obtain in resin consumption gradian (2%, 4%) and press time level (4 & 5 min).But the results also, indicated the IB of the boards have been decreased by increasing in resin consumption gradian. On the other hand, mutual impression of resin consumption gradian & press time has been significant, on the lntemal Bonding (IB) of boards, and also, were obtain IB content maximum, in condition, resin consumption gradian (0%) & press time level (5 min). This result also indicated that, press time is signify, on the Thickness Swelling (SW 2,24h),and content minimum has been observed, in the 4min press time. The obtain result, of different elements effectively, on the Water Absorption (WA), indicated that, content minimum is in the 4min press time. As a result, according to experimental of mechanical & physical properties, in the boards were made of, Kiwi pruning residues, in the different conditions, to say that, Kiwi pruning residues is a lignocellulosic suitable material for particleboard manufacturing with standard mechanical & physical properties.
