Combustion Kinetics and Combustion Performance of Fire-Retardant Bamboo Strips Forming Materials Treated with Fire Retardant
Introduction The combustion behavior of four kinds of Bamboo Strips Forming Materials (BSFM) bonded with Melamine-Phenol-Formaldehyde (MPF) resin and phosphorus containing fire retardant (PCFR), with Phenol-Formaldehyde (PF) resin and PCFR, with MPF resin and with PF resin were studied respectively by cone calorimeter (CONE). The equation model of mass loss rate a and time t was simulated by using a chemical kinetic method. According to the chemical kinetic method, the average activation energy E,, of four kinds of BSFM were calculated. The combustion properties of four kinds of BSFM were compared.
