Thermochemical Characteristics of Rice Straw EMAL
Introduction In the paper, a new method was adopted to isolate rice straw enzymatic/mild acidolysis lignin named EMAL. Domestic scholars had studied on the pyrolysis characteristics of grass biomass, but pyrolysis of rice straw lignin was investigated rarely. The majority of high molecular weight derived compounds present in bio-oil tends to originate from the lignin monomers present in the biomass. This paper revealed the structure of rice straw EMAL by pyrolysis-GC/MS t41to present, which also was studied by means of thermogravimetric analysis. These offered valuable information for further exploring kinetics of the rice straw EMAL pyrolysis, and provided the foundation for thermochemistry conversion of rice straw EMAL to energy and chemicals.
