Ezperimental Research on the Stratification Formation Process in Density lock
The process of stratification formation in density lock is one of the keys of density lock study. In this paper, the experiment simulating the stratification formation in density lock is used to study the temperature field in density lock. The process of stratification with no disturbance is compared with the process with disturbance. In addition, the process of stratification with grid or not is also compared in the paper. The results indicate that the temperature of density lock is increasing at first; and then at a certain moment, temperature difference formed and becomes larger and larger; finally, stratification formed.
