Natural Circulation Subcooled Boiling Bubble Departure
Experimental study of natural circulation subcooled boiling is carried out, the points of bubble departure are predicted by Saha-Zubor model, Bowring method and the evaporation and condensation model of SUNQi. The results seem to show that Saha-Zuber model is not applicable to our experimental condition of natural circulation with lower pressure and not high mass flow rate. SUNQis model, which is for low-flow, is also not exactly congruous. By analyzing and comparing, the reason for the difference is considered that the bubble departure we observed is based on the force balance whereas the point of vapor net generation in SUNQis model is based on the evaporation and condensation balance.
