Study on Phase Difference Between Fluz and Pressure Drop of Pipe Flow Under Flow Fluctuation Condition

In order to study the flow friction resistance under flow fluctuation conditions, experiments have been performed. The experimental restdts show that there is a phase difference between the flux and pressure drop fluctuating curves. In the theoretical study, the phase difference between the fluctuating flux and fluctuating pressure drop has been analyzed for laminar flow. The comparison between the theoretical result and the experimental result shows that the phase difference is a real existence, and it changes with the period of the flow fluctuation, the radius of the pipe, the density and dynamic viscosity of the liquid.
